Choosing Courses that You Could Teach

We encourage all teachers with an interest in teaching at SU to apply and indicate courses they have taught in the past (if any) and courses at Servants University that they think they could teach. See the instructions below for selecting courses you think you could teach.

Your Ph.D. or Masters’s should be in the following:

  • Anthropology, Sociology, and Psychology (e.g., M.A., Ph.D.)
  • Business (e.g., MA, MBA, Ph.D.)
  • Public health (e.g., MPH, Ph.D.)
  • Theology or Biblical Studies (e.g., DMin, Ph.D.) for professors and at least a Master’s degree for Teaching Assistants.

Courses you Could Teach

Quickly look at the courses in the following degree programs and choose courses you could teach. Choose as many as ten. This doesn’t mean you would teach them. This, together with your transcript and previous teaching experience, will help us recommend the right course for you during the interview stage.

Choose the Courses from the following degree programs

  1. Bachelor of Arts in Ministry to Orphans and Vulnerable Children | Servants University | Training Servants for Christ
  2. Bachelor of Biblical & Theological Studies | Servants University | Training Servants for Christ

Read the Course Descriptions

  • Click here to read the course descriptions to know more about the contents of the courses you think you can teach.

Include as many courses as possible from the above list that you think you can teach based on your formal education and previous teaching and practical experience. Don’t send us the course descriptions, just a list of the course names (from the degree programs above).

For example,

  • THEO 206 Spiritual Formation

That’s a course I can teach. Add more (as many as ten). That will increase the chances of us finding a course you could teach.
